The Game of Roles is an artwork that reflects on identity and the roles each of us is called upon to embody. At its center emerges a golden, ceremonial totemic figure, evoking both the strength of armor and the fragility of a mask. On either side, two ornate spheres orbit like planets, suggesting opposing yet complementary forces that shape our inner balance.
The background, composed of intense reds and greens, becomes the dramatic stage for this representation. The geometric patterns define a sense of order, while the precious, sculptural details enhance the ritualistic and timeless dimension of the artwork.
Inspired by a Pirandellian vision of life as a performance, the artwork invites us to question which role we choose to play and how much authenticity lies hidden behind the mask.
