Description
The Metamorphosis is born in a suspended time: the time of waiting. A shell tears open like a cocoon at the moment of transformation — fragments of pale matter unfold outward, while deep within, a hidden and living red heart pulses.
It is not destruction: it is the exact moment when a form ceases to be what it once was in order to become what it will be. The material tears, resists, yields, and reorganizes itself, just as life does every time it passes through a trial.
This artwork was born in the hours when waiting becomes a silent prayer, and every fragment that breaks away is a fear transformed into hope.
Metamorphosis is never painless — but it is always a beginning.
